SIZING GUIDE

When it comes to vintage clothing, sizing can be tricky. 99% of the time you can not trust what the original tag says.

Every single piece of clothing that we sell is hand measured and then sized based on the measurements, not the original tag. The size is determined by comparing the measurements to modern day sizing standards.

We want you to feel confident and comfortable in your purchase, so we include both the original tagged size and the modern best fit size in the item description.

For non-vintage items, please refer to the item description for sizing details.

All Vintage Hawks merchandise is unisex.

VINTAGE TOPS

First, we take a pit to pit measurement by laying the garment flat, face up and measuring from its widest point from under one armpit to the other armpit.

We then take the length measurement by laying the item flat with the back of the garment facing up. The measurement is taken from the seam where the collar band ends straight down to the bottom hem.

To ensure your purchase fits perfectly we recommend measuring a piece of clothing that fits well and using these measurements to compare to our products measures.

VINTAGE BOTTOMS

We measure bottoms by waist (width) and by inseam (length) as shown below.
